Grace. Graceful. Gracefulness.
There is just an eloquent elegance to the word grace!
When I hear grace, I think of divine love, connection, peace, serenity, understanding, compassion, light, and miracles.
One of the prayers I associate mostly with grace, is St Francis prayer. It’s flowing with grace. It’s written with grace, it’s praying for grace, it’s channeled through grace, and through prayer – it’s describing the phenomenon of grace.
St. Francis prayer describes grace as the beauty of divine love and healing flowing through us, outside of time and space.
Grace is eternal healing through divine love.
Today, I am honored to share the prayer of St. Francis with you.
Lord, make me an instrument of peace
where there is hatred, let me sow love
where there is injury, pardon
where there is doubt, faith
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy
O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
to be loved as to love
For it is in giving that we receive
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life
