Writing is an art – a wonderful form of self-expression!
Through writing we nourish our heart to mind connection, we share our heart’s message with the world, we express our mind, and speak our truth – which in turn helps us flow with inner power and confidence.
If you were to look inside every writer’s heart, I believe you would find a deep hunger for meaning. Writers have an underlying quest to share their voice, to express their soul, to understand more, to seek the answers to life’s big questions, and to reach more clarity.
Writing is an inner calling, an innate quest for meaning, joy and self-expression. There is a hunger there, ever flowing, rolling in continuously like the waves on the ocean -a hunger that keeps us feeling alive and inspired. Our hunger for meaning can be observed but never ignored. If we ignore it and brush it away we feel anxious and depressed.
My best remedy is to write a little bit every day! The days I don’t feel like writing – I still write, but don’t do it for as long. Instead, I take extra time out of my day to meditate, listen to my dreams and honor my soul in other ways.
Writing is a process of aligning our heart, mind and soul. It is a commitment to soul growth. Writing for a few minutes a day is wondrous for our happiness, and helps us feel connected and inspired.
Writing down our thoughts, exploring how we feel about something, and sharing a beautiful story from our heart on a sheet of paper is one of the most beautiful actions we can do for ourselves. It is an act of self-care and self-love!
